About Me
Your mental health is my passion
Why work with me
My name is May Elkady and I believe that the emotional weight we carry today is often tied to the unseen and unspoken moments from our past. Whether you’re navigating the burnout of high achievement, the quiet exhaustion of anxiety, or the lingering pain of trauma, I work with individuals who are ready to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with themselves. Many of my clients struggle to relax, feel “on” all the time, or carry invisible responsibilities shaped by early life experiences. They come to therapy not just to cope but to understand, to heal, and to grow into a more peaceful and authentic version of themselves.
As a trauma-informed clinician with training in CBT, DBT, and SFBT, I draw from integrative approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. I help you explore what’s underneath the symptom, how your past may be showing up in your present, and support you in building new patterns of thought, behavior, and self-compassion.
I know that finding the right therapist is deeply personal, and therapy can feel vulnerable especially if you’ve spent years being the strong one for everyone else. You don’t have to hold it all together alone. Healing doesn’t come from quick fixes, but from being seen, supported, and gently challenged. If you’re ready, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
Taking an individualized, root cause approach to mental health.
I help my clients build supportive mental-health habits, feel better, and find what works for them.
I’m May, a passionate mental health therapist with 8 years of experience helping people improve emotional well-being through evidence-based, compassionate care. I support clients with practical skills and tailored plans to manage anxiety, depression, trauma, and everyday stress—so change feels doable and lasting.
My path into therapy began with a personal search for balance and healing, which sparked a deep commitment to helping others find their own path to clarity, resilience, and a life that feels more like them.
